Shine the Light Ministries

Shine the Light Ministries is a registered not for profit organization. Unlike most charitable organizations, Shine the Light has NO ONE on salary, nor is anyone paid to work for our organization. There are no employees, only willing volunteers. All monies raised are for the express purpose of transporting our volunteers to the villages in need, for medical equipment and needed supplies, and for donations to our partner charities. We will gladly issue you an official tax receipt for any yearly donations of $20 or more.

SOME MORE INFORMATION
There have been a lot of questions regarding the cost of the trip and we want to quickly address a few concerns. The break down of the estimated $2000 cost of the trip is as follows:
-$1100 flight
-$400 accomodations
-$500 building supplies/ground work/planning/transportation/translators/job site lunches
 
***NOTE:  Shine the Light / Shine Dental profits $0 from your trip and $0 of your fare go to administration costs. We understand that in this day and age, it can be arduous to pinpoint valid and true charities.  Dr. Brent Wong has the wacky idea that non-profits can be run without salaries. We all volunteer our time and do not receive pay for any work rendered.  

If you haven't already, please RSVP so that we are able to reserve a spot for you.

We will only be taking 25 people per trip.
