Dominican January 2024

This trip brought us back to a large group size with 44 people!  It was so great to be able to build three more houses on this trip, something that we haven’t accomplished since before the pandemic.  

It was also great to be able to have 6 dental providers who were able to see 96 patients and who were able to perform hundreds of procedures.  Timo and Kirill made a special appearance for the dental clinics and flew down solely for the 2 days that we held the clinics!  We also had, Lissel, our first hygienist from an office other than Shine Dental, just us on the dental team!

We had so many laughs and met so many new people who quickly became family members to our growing movement we call, Shine the Light Initiative.
