Meet Wendy and Kerry—friends from their university days where they studied Interior Design. Perhaps the world should have known that these two would one day collaborate on something magnificent-back in 2004, they travelled to New Zealand to build a home with Habitat for Humanity and backpack through the wilds of that amazing country.

Their passion for helping people has only grown since then and laid the foundation for starting far•o. This amazing initiative is aptly named as it works to aid STLi in shining hope into dark places. They designed and collaborated with the artisans in the Dominican Republic to bring this beautiful line of leather and silver jewelry to market. They are passionate about seeing an entire community flourish by paying fair prices to talented artisans that make up the economic backbone of Javillar. 

Their time is all volunteered so that 100% of the profits can go back into supporting the salaries of local teachers and programs at the Shine the Light Centre in Javillar, DR. The centre provides free programming for the residents to aid them in lifting themselves up out of poverty through education and skills training.
