Dominican January 2020
This was our first trip of 2020 and it was our largest group ever with 50 volunteers! We were able to build 3 houses, held dental and medical clinics and introduced a new concept called Community Encounters.This expands on our existing kitchen encounters initiative but now also includes programs such as kids club, bible studies, knitting, and even welding!
Heavy rain made for great working conditions as it was a break from the usual sweltering temperatures.
Seeing all the growth was so encouraging and we are excited to return in May!
